This is an antique piece from around 1900. These old Bohemian garnets have a wonderful deep blood red colour - by candlelight they take on a particularly romantic glow.
This one is an unusual and very attractive shape - altogether a striking and high quality piece.
- About 3.5 cm across (1.37 inch) by 3.5 cm high (1.37 inch).
- Gilded, so is probably gold plated on brass or silver.
- Clasp works well.
