Antique Bohemian garnet pendant or brooch / pin.

This is an antique piece from around 1900-1910. These old Bohemian garnets have a wonderful deep blood red colour - by candlelight they take on a particularly romantic glow.

This piece is in lovely condition and is an unusual style that can be worn either as a pendant or brooch / pin.

• Approximately 4 cm high (1.57 inches) and 3.5 cm across (1.37 inches).
• Probably tombak, which is an alloy made to look like silver - very commonly used in antique Bohemian garnet jewellery.
• Nice bale at the top and it also has a pin at the back.
