Rare antique puppet/marionette that we found in Czech Republic.

This is a most unusual figure with a beautifully detailed carved and painted head. He is wearing a folk costume which is hand embroidered. He's a little strange!

This is a very large puppet at 66cm (26 inches) tall.

Please note that this is a genuine antique piece and the painted parts and fabrics show their age, though all in all they are in remarkably good condition.

There is a space in his head to attach strings or a wire mechanism if you want to use him as a puppet.
