19th century bone toothpick (or bodkin?) in silver dish. Antique, strange piece, from a Czech castle estate. Possibly a Dieppe carving.
A strange and rare little bone figure in a monogrammed silver tray.
The silver is hallmarked, but I think it's silver plate rather than silver.
The bone piece is 7 cm high (about 3 inches) when closed. It may be a Dieppe piece, as that region was known for its carving of this kind.
All in good, antique condition. I'm happy to send more photos of the back etc, on request.
