This is a most beautiful statue that was most likely made in the Austrian Alps around 1700.
It's carved and gilded wood and - with the typical symbolism for Maria Immactulata - it shows Mary standing on a globe around which a dragon/snake is wrapped. The beautiful little base below is probably not as old, but still antique.
12.5 inches high (32 cm).
